Union Colony Preparatory School
Union Colony Preparatory School is a sixth through twelfth-grade Preparatory School located in Greeley, CO. The expansion project included a new 39,400 SF two-story building comprising of classrooms, science labs, art rooms, administrative offices, flex space, kitchen, restrooms, and support spaces. G2 performed the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design services for this project under a design-build delivery format with Roche Constructors. Upon project completion, G2 issued a complete set of MEP as-builts to capture the final installation. Project challenges included working on an expansion while the existing building was required to operate. Project scheduling and phasing were closely coordinated between the owner, design team and contractors.
